Cybersecurity is not a luxury, it is a necessity. Cybersecurity practices are necessary for the survival of your business and they are fundamental to a safe and healthy economy.

Humanity has always been a social creature, and as such we naturally work to build systems that maximize our ability to access and engage in social interactions – including financial transactions. This has led to a world of high-speed communications wherein everything is literally connected. Because everything is connected to this planet-wide network, any one thing is just a hop away from just about everything else. If just one single device has a vulnerability and is compromised, it (and/or the data found on it) can lead to the hacker(s) gaining access to several more devices owned by several other individuals who’ve stored plenty of personal and private information which the hacker(s) will happily exploit. Just one weak link can lead to lasting and dire consequences. Just one ill-advised action by one single employee can – and all too often does – destroy a business.

In this digital world of ours, we have an obligation to maintain good security practices and to help others do the same.

Good cybersecurity practices aren’t just about me or you – it’s about all of us. It protects everybody. For this reason we are making all of our material available to everybody at no cost. Our economy is the lifeblood of our world and every single one of us has the obligation to not only protect ourselves, but to help others protect themselves as well.
